A birth print drawn from the real sky. Enter the baby's name, the date, time and place of birth, the weight and the length, and the print shows the sun and the moon exactly as they were that day, worked out for that spot. Choose one of three layouts: Day ring: the birthday's 24 hours as night, twilight and daylight, with a little star at the moment of birth. A night baby's star sits in the dark part of the ring; a daytime baby's in the gold. Moon & sun: that night's moon in its true phase, a full moon, a crescent or a new moon with little stars around it, above the day's sun path from sunrise to sunset. Questions

Is the sky real?
Yes. The sunrise, sunset and daylight, and the moon in its exact phase, are worked out for the date, time and place of birth. A baby born under a crescent gets a crescent; a new-moon baby gets a dark moon with little stars around it.
What can I put on it?
The name, the date, time and place of birth, and the weight and length written the way you like them (3.4 kg or 7 lb 8 oz). You choose the layout, the colours and the lettering.
I don't know the exact time — is that a problem?
Not at all. Leave it empty: the print shows that day's sun and that night's moon, and simply leaves the time out.
Will anything be cut off when I frame it?
No. Every word and the drawing sit well inside the edges, and each paper size is laid out for its own shape, so a mount or a trim only takes a little background colour.
What size can I print it?
You choose the paper size while you design it: A5 to A1, or 8×10 to 18×24 inches. The PDF is print-ready at that size, to fit a standard frame.
How do I print it?
At home on good, heavy matte paper, or take the PDF to any print shop or photo service and ask for it at its size. Dark skies look richest on matte or fine-art paper.
May I use it commercially?
It's for personal use: print it as often as you like for your own walls or as a gift. Please don't sell it or prints of it.
When do I get my files?
Straight away. After paying you land on your download page, and the receipt email links to it too. The link stays open for 30 days (for a gift, 30 days from the day it's delivered), so download your files and keep them safe. If you need them again later, just write to us.
Is anything posted to me?
No — these are digital files. You print them yourself at home or at a print shop, so there's no shipping and no waiting.
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes. In the cart, tick “Send it as a gift”: we email it to them with your message, on the day you choose. You get the download link as well.
