The sky exactly as it was the moment a baby arrived: the stars, the constellations and the moon over the place they were born, worked out for the date and time and drawn the way they stood overhead. Add the baby's name, set in a flowing script, the date and time of birth, the place, and the weight and length the way you write them — 3.4 kg or 7 lb 8 oz, 51 cm or 20 in. Choose the line above ("Welcome to the world" or your own words), the lettering and the colours, from a deep night blue to a soft paper for the nursery. You get a print-ready PDF at the size you choose, from A5 to A1 or 8×10 to 18×24 inches, the moment you pay. Print it at home or at any print shop and frame it — for the nursery, new parents, grandparents or a baby shower. You can also send it as a gift straight from the cart, with your message. No physical item is posted.

Questions

Is the sky accurate?
Yes. The stars, constellations and moon are worked out for the exact date, time and place of the birth — the sky as it really stood over that spot the moment the baby arrived.
What can I put on it?
The baby's name, the date and time of birth, the place, and the weight and length, written the way you like them (3.4 kg or 7 lb 8 oz). You choose the line above, the lettering and the colours.
I don't know the exact time — is that a problem?
Not at all. Leave the time empty and the sky is drawn for that evening; you can also choose not to print the time.
What size can I print it?
You choose the paper size while you design it: A5 to A1, or 8×10 to 18×24 inches. The PDF is print-ready at that size, to fit a standard frame.
How do I print it?
At home on good, heavy matte paper, or take the PDF to any print shop or photo service and ask for it at its size. Dark skies look richest on matte or fine-art paper.
May I use it commercially?
It's for personal use: print it as often as you like for your own walls or as a gift. Please don't sell it or prints of it.
When do I get my files?
Straight away. After paying you land on your download page, and the receipt email links to it too. The link stays open for 30 days (for a gift, 30 days from the day it's delivered), so download your files and keep them safe. If you need them again later, just write to us.
Is anything posted to me?
No — these are digital files. You print them yourself at home or at a print shop, so there's no shipping and no waiting.
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes. In the cart, tick “Send it as a gift”: we email it to them with your message, on the day you choose. You get the download link as well.
What if something is wrong with a file?
Write to us and we’ll fix it or send a corrected file — and if we can’t, you get a full refund. See Refunds.
