Royal Dachshund Portrait, Printable Dog Wall Art in Crown and Robes

A black and tan dachshund sits for a royal portrait, wearing a jewelled gold crown, a white fur collar and a red and black embroidered robe. The background is dark and soft, in the manner of old court paintings, so the dog's face and the gold of the crown carry the image. The expression is entirely serious, which is where the joke lives. It works in a hallway, above a console table, in a living room or home office, and it makes a good gift for someone who owns a sausage dog. The dark background sits well against both pale walls and warmer, deeper colours. After payment you receive seven high resolution JPG files, one for each aspect ratio, so you can pick the shape that suits your frame. Print at home, at a local print shop or through an online printing service. For the sharpest result, choose a matte or lightly textured paper and set the printer to borderless or add your own white border. Frame is not included; this is a digital download and nothing is posted.
