How does it work?
You fill the doors here: a note, a photo, a song or any link behind each one. After paying you get a link to send by message or email. Whoever opens it sees the calendar on their phone or computer, and one door opens each day at midnight. No app, nothing to download, nothing posted.
Can they peek at tomorrow's door?
No. A door's note, photo and link stay on our server until its day begins, so they can't be found early, not even in the page's code. Before the first door there's a countdown, and each day a countdown to the next door.
Do I have to fill all 24 doors now?
No. Buy it when you're ready and keep filling them afterwards with your own link, until each door opens. Until you buy it, it's kept only while its page is open, to keep it a surprise. A door left empty opens to a little "a surprise is on its way".
Is it only for Christmas?
No. Choose "Countdown to a day" for a wedding, a birthday, a baby due or seeing each other again: from 3 to 31 doors, the last one opening on the big day.
What time do the doors open?
At midnight in your time zone, where the calendar was made. Perfect when you're apart: they open their door the same morning you would.
Can I see it before I send it?
Yes: "See it as they will" shows the calendar with every door open for you only. They see one a day.
What happens to my photos?
They're kept only for your calendar, seen only by whoever has its link once their door is open, and deleted 120 days after the last door. Until you buy it, your calendar is kept only while its page is open, so nobody else using your device can find it; an unbought one is deleted after 7 days.
When do I get my files?
Straight away. After paying you land on your download page, and the receipt email links to it too. The link stays open for 30 days (for a gift, 30 days from the day it's delivered), so download your files and keep them safe. If you need them again later, just write to us.
Is anything posted to me?
No β€” these are digital files. You print them yourself at home or at a print shop, so there's no shipping and no waiting.
Can I give it as a gift?
Yes. In the cart, tick β€œSend it as a gift”: we email it to them with your message, on the day you choose. You get the download link as well.
What if something is wrong with a file?
Write to us and we’ll fix it or send a corrected file β€” and if we can’t, you get a full refund. See Refunds.
