What is a class set?
10 to 35 puzzles in one PDF, all in the same design, but each with its own grid, so children can't copy from each other. With more words in your list than each puzzle hides, every puzzle gets its own selection of words too. Every answer sheet is included.
Can I use my own words?
Yes. Type or paste them, one per line: this week's spelling words, names of friends, words from a topic you're learning. Or start from our words for ten topics, from animals to space, at four levels.
How hard is it?
You choose: Easy (ages 5–7) has a 9×9 grid with words across and down; Medium (8–10) adds diagonals; Hard (11–13) and Expert (teens and adults) have bigger grids with words running backwards too. You can change the grid size, the number of words and the directions yourself.
Is there an answer sheet?
Yes, every puzzle comes with its answer sheet, each word ringed, on its own page after the puzzles.
What does it look like?
Landscape, the grid beside its list of words, on one of 15 backgrounds (jungle, space, under the sea, winter and more, or a print-friendly one that saves ink), with a name and a title.
May I use it in my classroom?
Yes, it's made for that: print it for your class or group as often as you like. Please don't sell or share the file.
When do I get my files?
Straight away. After paying you land on your download page, and the receipt email links to it too. The link stays open for 30 days (for a gift, 30 days from the day it's delivered), so download your files and keep them safe. If you need them again later, just write to us.
Is anything posted to me?
No — these are digital files. You print them yourself at home or at a print shop, so there's no shipping and no waiting.
Can I give it as a gift?
